About Eyes for Lies

Eyes for Lies spots lies by simply observing people.  However, she is unique.

Only 50 individuals
were found to spot deception

with great accuracy
after testing more than 15,000 people

How does she spot lies?

When Eyes for Lies watches a person talk, she is simultaneously watching and absorbing what that person is saying along with how they are feeling and acting.  She concurrently absorbs the person's:

  • pattern of speech

  • words that are spoken

  • tone of voice/pitch/inflection

  • facial expressions

  • mood/demeanor

  • character

  • personality attributes

  • emotions (revealed and concealed)

  • attire

  • behavior/mannerisms/habits

  • reactions as well as body movements

Eyes for Lies has a deep understanding of human behavior.  Within seconds to a couple of minutes, she is naturally able to correlate all the data she is absorbing and pinpoint inconsistencies in fact, emotion, behavior and character that should be consistent if someone is honest.  While it sounds easy, the process is quite complex.  For Eyes for Lies, this process is innate.

"Our wizards are extraordinarily attuned to detecting the nuances of facial expressions, body language and ways of talking and thinking. Some of them can observe a videotape for a few seconds and amazingly they can describe eight details about the person on the tape," says Dr. Maureen O'Sullivan of the University of San Francisco (source).

Eyes for Lies is NOT psychic

There is nothing magical nor mysterious about how Eyes for Lies does this. Scientists have studied her and this ability, and realize there are concrete clues to deception.  The mystery lies in why most people don't see these clues, and only a select few, like Eyes for Lies, do.

When Eyes for Lies explains to people what she sees and gives people reasons as to why she reaches her conclusions, many people are able to understand and see what she sees after-the-fact when they give it consideration.

While some people see some things, some of the time, most people don't see the whole picture all of the time to come to a conclusion.  Hence, that is why people have a difficulty in determining if someone is honest or not.  Eyes for Lies sees most things the majority of the time.
