Noura Jackson Granted New Trial

If you’ve watched 48 Hours for years, you may remember the case of involving Noura Jackson. She was convicted of murdering her mom Jennifer. Now, it appears, she has gotten the Tennessee Supreme Court to over-turn the verdict and grant her a new trial.

I did not believe Noura Jackson when I first wrote about her in April of 2010. You can read my original thoughts here.

I put a new comment under your original analysis on this case, if anyone wants to read it and comment on it.

Off Topic: I am really curious about Juron Vander Sloot’s threatening to kill the Peruvian prison warden. After the threat, he was moved to a harder more remote prison. The cold temperatures reach extreme lows in this prison. I wonder if he hatched a plan to kill the warden, paid someone to kill the warden, or if he went into a violent fit of rage. The attempt on the warden’s life might tell us something about his character and his tendencies to commit murder. I think he is a psychopath with a rage control problem, also.
