Another Cosby Accuser Who I Believe

Another accuser came forward on the Dr. Phil show named “Lisa” this week. Her story is consistent with the other stories we have heard, her words flow and she gives us no reason to believe she is telling us anything but the truth.

I have been flabbergasted by the people who think these women are simply lying. To get 20 strangers to come up with a “story” like this is unheard of–especially since they don’t even know each other. It may happen with one or two, but not 20. And furthermore, most liars lie because there is incentive or motive to do so. They will gain something, and right now it doesn’t appear that these women have anything to gain.  The statute of limitations has run out.

What I found most appalling, however, in this case is that some people feel no one should accuse Cosby of anything unless they go to court, because as they seem to feel that Cosby is just a sitting duck with no rights. These people seem to believe that anyone can ruin someone’s reputation and there is nothing they can do about it. And that’s flat out UNTRUE!

Cosby has every right to get justice in the courts! If he feels that these women are slandering him, then he has every right to go after them for justice to clear his name, but as you can see, he doesn’t dare tempt that with a ten foot pole. Oh no, he knows what will happen if he does. He will give them the right to counter sue and expose him even faster, so the lack of a response from Cosby cements his guilt even more, if you ask me. And we all know Cosby has the money to sue, but he is also keenly aware that powerhouse attorney Gloria Allred is willing and able to step up and match him dollar for dollar to get the justice these victims deserve!

I would like to say that he wouldn’t be hanging around the Playboy Bunny Club with Mr. Heffner as his best friend, if he were the wonderful, family man and father that we thought he was. He certainly wasn’t going there to benefit his family. There may be more coming out, before all of this is over. The picture that Janice Dickensen has of him wrapped in a quilt is one that he may have trouble explaining away. I would like to hear what he has to say about that.

Actually, if you understand the differences, it makes all the difference in the world. This is not an odd smile in any fashion. It’s a social polite smile and people make it a lot in awkward situations. Now, if she showed down right happiness, and delight–that’s very different.

She truly has no memory of what happened to her.

I was able to watch most of this episode, and parts of it actually made me sick to my stomach. It was really hard to watch and that doesn’t happen to me very often.

One of the first spots that I had a hard time watching was even in the clip you shared here (from 1:08 – 1:14), where they showed the photos that Lisa and her mom and sister had taken with Cosby. His expressions in those photos turned my stomach knowing the context of why she had come forward. His expressions in those photos were likely a huge red flag if only people had known what to look for at that time, especially the second one with her mom. I suspect I probably wouldn’t have trusted him an inch at that point. Although I might not have been conscious of it if I were starstruck by him or something because that could be a very distracting environment to be in which could catch a lot of people off guard.

Hi Kieth, Could you describe what is you see in the photos? I kinda get a little smug feeling ( not me but that he feels a little smug) when I see them but I could not say why and this could be bias on my part knowing what I know now. I would like to actually be able to know better what I am seeing, and if I get an odd feeling be able to describe why.

If you have the time I would appreciate you describing what you see thanks.

Hi Ann-Marie, I’ll try to come back to this in a day or two when I have the time to look them over again and write out some of the things I see in them for you.

Kathie Lee Gifford said that he tried to kiss her, and she said, “No, Bill, we are friends.” He said,” O.K., good night.” I thought she was trying to be very fair to everyone involved, the accusers and Bill. She didn’t have to speak out, at all, and the fact that she did shows she may believe the women. I am afraid his past is catching up to him.
