Vanessa Bulls: My Thoughts

(Update added below)
When I watch Vanessa Bulls testimony in this clip during the Matt Baker trial (which is only a small snippet), I do not see any indications that Vanessa Bulls is being deceptive.

When the attorney questioning Vanessa says, “How do we know to believe you, Vanessa?”, Vanessa replies, “Because what do I have to gain from this right now?” As she continues, she glares (tenses her eyelids) in anger as she looks across the room. “I could possibly lose my job as a teacher. Everyone is looking at me really bad right now. I’m setting things right.”

While Bulls is by no means humbled by her actions, which is disheartening, and comes across quite arrogant considering the implications of her actions, I think her testimony from what I see in this clip is truthful. She speaks without hesitation, without interruption and I do not see any indications that she is thinking on her feet. Her memory seems to come fluid and natural.

Read moreSome people have questioned that Bulls can gain financially and that may be her motive (it’s possible), but unless we see any indications for something like this, I would not jump to these conclusions, personally.

This morning I saw more testimony of Bulls (Thanks, S) and I must say that what struck me most about Vanessa is that she knew so much information. I kept trying to envision Vanessa just listening to Matt without being supportive, but I can’t see Matt divulging so much information to Vanessa without her partaking in the conversation and offering “positive reinforcement”.

Vanessa says thing that raise my alarm bells. Vanessa says “..He mentioned that he would leave a note, and he said that he would type it, and I said (shaking her head no/slight laugh) that’s never going to work. You’re going to be caught, and he said ‘oh no she types everything.'”

That’s bone chilling. How much more advice or insight did Vanessa offer him to get the job done?

The prosecutor says, “Had it not occurred you that if he killed one wife, he might kill another?” Vanessa says, “I thought he would, but he promised me that we would be so happy that he would never do that.”

I’m haunted by Vanessa Bulls testimony…

YET, I must say that we should commend Vanessa for coming forward. Had she not done so, I think Matt Baker would be a free man today. So, thank you, Vanessa, for finally coming out and telling the story about Matt Baker and stopping this mad man from hurting another person. Without you, he may have killed again and again.

Personally I do not think this tramp deserves a thank you! I think she was his partner in the planning and murdering of this lovely woman. Because she was so pathetically selfish and wanted the wifes life as her own. At all costs. And it makes me sick that this murderer is walking free. Moving on with her life. Still teaching children. While two young ladies have to grow up with out either of their parents. Knowing full well this woman is just as guilty as their dad. Yet got off scott free. It honestly makes me sick! Our country is so quick to turn the other cheek at home wreckers like her. And I think its a disgrace!

Yeah …. thanks, Vanessa, for doing absolutely nothing for a woman who you knew would be murdered. Gold star for the teacher.
