If you missed 60 Minutes this past weekend, you missed a very chilling story about Samuel Little. It’s not that you would want to ever meet or know Little, but as a study of human behavior, he is ultra fascinating! He is now being called the most prolific serial killer in the U.S. and has confessed to 93 murders.

Sure, many killers brag about how many people they have killed, but 79-year old Little can back it up with some stunning detail. Little is an artist, and has drawn dozens of his victims in chalk drawings to help police identify them.

Little had a photographic memory and recalls details such as the clothes his victims were wearing decades ago, what streets they traveled, where they met, how tall they were, and he even remembers their approximate weight. His details have convinced police he is the killer in this many cases because they were able to verify his details to the crimes and solve them.

It’s chilling to watch Little. He laughs and smiles as he recounts his numerous victims. You’d think he was talking about playing with grandchildren rather than recalling his murderous behavior. At one point in his 60 Minutes interview, Little says, ” She was fighting for her life, and I’m fighting for my pleasure… ” How heavy is that? Did that chill your veins, too? However, you have to hear him say it. He is so void and yet so social. I can see this man con just about anyone and get away with it. From the New York Times, Little tells a detective from Marion Country, Florida: “God put me on Earth to do what I did. He made me.” Little is definitely worth some study if you are interested in human behavior! He is chilling to the core.
