I see Greta Van Susteren occasionally opens up a post on her blog, and leaves it up to the readers to comment. Would you enjoy that here?

Speak away! Tell me what is on your mind! I’m listening.

With that, I have a question, why are people so shy about commenting here? I don’t bite, really! I see I get many visitors, but few commenters. What can I do to change that?

You don’t have to log in, type your real name, or provide an e-mail address in the comments, so what is holding you back? Too shy to tell me here, you can write to me in private, if you feel more comfortable.

Oh, and I have a new post rating system. See the stars below at the bottom of this post? Click on them. Please tell me what you like, and what you don’t like by a quick vote after reading a post. You are not tracked in anyway. So, how about giving it a whirl?

The Ultimate Betrayal Unraveled

Earlier this week, I wrote a post titled The Ultimate Betrayal? If you aren’t familiar with this story, click on the link above to catch up.

Anne Darwin has now confessed that her presumed-to-be dead husband, John, was actually living in her home for the past several years.

She further identified that John talked to her about faking his death before he did it as a way to solve financial problems.

Read moreI find it amazing the lengths people will go through when money is at stake. Money—the lack of it or the desire to have it—can make people do crazy things.

Did you know faking one’s death is known as pseudocide?

As the video above questions, John Darwin has yet to say why he chose to come back from the dead.

News also surfaced yesterday that Rick Mims sold his story about Drew Peterson to the National Enquirer. Rick says that he needs the money to pay his cell phone bills that were upwards of four-hundred dollars. The rest, says Mims, will be donated to a fund in Stacy Peterson’s name. I did not see Mims say this. I’ve only heard what he said through a second source.

Monday

I am utterly wordless, and without direction to write about anything. After such a whirlwind month in November, the news is quiet at the moment.

I did, however, come across a great posting by Dr. Steve: Lord, Lord, how this world is given to lying!

It’s a fabulous post, if I do say so myself, and what I like most is Dr. Steve’s definition of lying at the end. I think it is superb. Many thanks to Deception Blog for pointing it out.

Greta, Dr. Baden, Savio and Peterson

I’m watching Greta Van Susteren right now on Fox, and Dr. Baden is talking about the autopsy he just did on Savio today. Dr. Baden’s finding is that Savio died from homicide.

What was fascinating for me, and very damning for Drew Peterson was that Dr. Baden said that he believes Kathleen Savio’s time of death was a minimum of 10 hours prior to her behind found — but could be upwards of 24 to 36 hours.

Remember what Peterson said in the interview with Matt Lauer yesterday?

Mr. PETERSON:
So when I heard screaming, I went inside and there she was in the bathtub.

LAUER:
What did you see? And did it look like an accidental drowning to you at that time?

Mr. PETERSON:
I felt the p–I didn’t know if she was dead or live, so I felt her pulse and, you know, being a policeman, I basically didn’t want to touch anything or disturb any
thing.

We all know that after ten hours of dying bodies cool. I wonder how Peterson is going to explain this one?
