Rupert Murdoch

I’ve watched a little of Rupert Murdoch and his son, James, talk to the parliamentary committee this week.
I find it interesting that they don’t answer direct questions asked of them, they don’t recall things that they should and they are evasive. This, however, really stood out to me in the segment I watched:

Q202 Mr Watson: Mr Murdoch, why was no one fired in April, when News International finally admitted that News of the World had been engaged in criminal interception of voicemails?

Rupert Murdoch: It was not our job to get in the course of justice. It was up to the police to bring the charges and to carry out their investigation, which we were 100% co-operating with.

Q203 Mr Watson: But in April the company admitted liability for phone hacking, and nobody took responsibility for it then. No one was fired. The company admitted that they had been involved in criminal wrongdoing and no one was fired. Why was that?

Rupert Murdoch: There were people in the company who apparently were guilty. We have to find them and we have to deal with them appropriately.

I find this little snippet in and of itself very telling. Mr. Watson notes that News International admitted the company was engaged in criminal interception of voicemails and yet no one was fired. Murdoch wants people to believe that he and his company had no responsibility outside of cooperating with police. He didn’t have any ethical responsibility to fire employees and keep his paper honest?  Wouldn’t a legitimate honest businessman make that his top priority?  Murdoch says, “There were people who apparently were guilty. We have to find them.” He has to find them?  This is nonsense!

I also find it very interesting how many people are resigning amidst this scandal.  Honest people with nothing to hide do not resign.  All red flags…

Murder Suspect Confesses to Killing 8-year Old Boy

This is a sad story coming out of Brooklyn, New York. An 8-year old boy wanted to walk home from summer camp alone without his mom. They practiced and rehearsed it.  He had to walk 7 blocks.  Sadly, on the first day the boy was to do it by himself, he got lost and asked a stranger for help.  That stranger ended up killing and dismembering him.   What a horrific story!

The confessed killer is Levi Aron, 34, also of Brooklyn.

I find it interesting how Levi says, “I understand this may be wrong and I’m sorry for the hurt that I have caused.”

He understands this MAY be wrong?

Wow.

He is under suicide watch until he can undergo a psychiatric evaluation.

Prince Albert and His Bride

If there was ever a strange pair that wed, it would be these two:  Prince Albert of Monaco and his now wife, Charlene. I have watched several videos of them and there is no expression of love, tenderness or a bond between these two. The are ice cold together–chillingly so. It appears this is a marriage is another purpose.  Some speculate it is to produce a legitimate heir.

A reader asked me if these were tears from a happy or sad bride? I would have to vote sad.  She bows her head as if she wants to escape.  She never looks up and gives us a genuine smile of joy. Instead she works to keep a frown off of her face.  Even Prince Albert was surprised at her tears.  I suspect he knew they weren’t from joy either.

I find watching these two very painful.  They aren’t fooling anyone. It doesn’t takes eyes for lies to see this!

Josh Powell’s Dad Speaks Out

Many people when children do bad things want to blame the parents for the problem saying the apple doesn’t fall too far from the cart. In some instances this is true and in others it is not.  In this case, however, it is absolutely true. We can see where Josh Powell gets his absurd ways, without question.

The fact that Josh’s dad, Steve Powell, is controlling Susan Powell’s diaries from when she was a little girl and plans to post them to prove his theories is outrageous, and the fact he is accusing her of running away with another man when the last known person to see her was his son, is sickening.

I do not believe Steve for an instant that Susan Powell was in any way promiscuous. Nor do I believe she ran away. There was a wet spot in the Powell’s living room and Josh dang well knows what happened, if you ask my opinion.  Steve doesn’t want to talk about that, does he?

I find it interesting how Steve talks for his son and says, “we”.  Why isn’t Josh speaking for himself?   Why does his dad feel the need to talk for his son??

This man, in my opinion, is as twisted as his son, sadly.

You can read my opinions of Josh Powell when he first spoke out here.
