Jo Yeates’ murder: 2nd Person Arrested

A second man has been arrested in connection with the Jo Yeates murder, 32-year old Vincent Tabak, who lived next door to Jo with his girlfriend.

Chris Jeffries, 65, was arrested in late December, and he has since given police a DNA sample according to news reports and says he expects to be cleared soon. He has also talked of suing the media and police for harming his reputation. He was a unique character to say the least.

If any footage comes up of either man where they are willing to discuss the case, please let me know. Thanks, MA.

Gut Instincts Solve Missing Child Case

What a fascinating story about how a woman felt she didn’t fit in with her family and that something wasn’t right. Through her beliefs, she followed through and did fact checking, which is essential when people are suspicious of lies. Fact checking is a basic step anyone can take.

A reader sent me this video today for another reason. The reader noticed that the mother in the video when her child was first missing didn’t have tears in her eyes. He questioned if the mother was faking her emotions. She absolutely did not, but this is an excellent question. Some people do cry their eyes dry, and I suspect that is what happened here. If you look at the mother’s eyes, they do look irritated and raw, which is supportive.

Gut Reactions Hard to Shake

New research out of Canada says that shaking your first gut impression is hard to do.

Sarah Palin’s Breathing

A reader sent me this video of Sarah Palin’s breathing, which was cut from her speech after the Arizona shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Gifford and her attendees.  In the video, Sarah defends herself after people cast blame on her for “irresponsible statements”.

I do not want this to become a discussion of politics, but I do think Sarah Palin communicated a strong message non-verbally in her speech and it is reflected in this cut version.

What non-verbal emotional messages is Palin sending in this video?
