Jo Yeates vanished after coming home from a night out with friends on December 17 in the UK. She was last seen buying a pizza on surveillance on her way home. Sadly her body was found on Christmas Day.

A retired English teacher, Chris Jefferies, 65, has been held for questioning and arrested for her death.  He was Jo’s landlord.  A neighbor to Jefferies, Ray Lowman, told BBC news about Jefferies, “He is basically a pillar of society. One of the well-known familiar locals.”  The neighbor also called Jefferies very intelligent and smart.

He is very arrogant and smug.  Arrogance is always a tip-off that something is amiss when someone is questioned about a crime in a criminal manner.  Arrogance has no place nor reason, though alone it is not conclusive.

Several people were suspicious of Jo’s parents in this interview, but I did not see anything that raised any red flags. You can read my thoughts here on her parents in their plea for their daughter’s return last week.
