Morgan Ingram’s Parents and Accused on Dr. Phil

Dr. Phil had on the story of Morgan Ingram. Morgan was found dead in her bedroom at the age of 20, and police at first thought it was a drug overdose, but then labeled her death as suicide.

She was found with high levels of Amitriptyline in her system, a drug which she once used to take.

Morgan’s parents went on Dr. Phil yesterday to accuse an ex-friend of Morgan, Brooke, and Brooke’s ex-boyfriend as well as her father. It was very sad to see because the parents have no supporting evidence but are truly causing Brooke and her friends and family serious grief.

I believe neither Brooke nor her father are in any way involved in Morgan’s death. I feel horrible for Morgan’s parents, but making accusations at people without facts is a dangerous, cruel and unfair thing to do to anybody.  Worse, making baseless accusations will not help Morgan’s parents get closer to the truth.

There is a chance that Morgan’s mom can’t cope with the fact her daughter committed suicide or overdose, and is in complete denial because she can’t accept that–especially since they shared words that night–the last time they saw each other. Or there could be more going on with Morgan and her mom here.

I think Morgan’s parents would be much better served by hiring a private investigator to track down the source of drugs that killed Morgan, if they want the real truth, which I question at this point.

There are definitely people out there that know where Morgan got this drug, and with some sleuthing that should be able to be found.  Or if Morgan didn’t get the drug, who did?

Once the source is found, the truth will come to light. I think it is very possible that Morgan could have committed suicide or overdosed. It is possible she didn’t, of course, but then I would start my investigation from inside the house first with those who were in the home when she died and I’d work outwards.

Sadly, the person who was not forthright on the Dr. Phil was Morgan’s mom.  My heart goes out to her in her loss, but if she wants to get to the truth, she needs to be factual and honest, too.
