Jenn Sterger’s Mix up with Brett Favre

Jenn Sterger wants to set the record straight that she didn’t want any part of Brett Favre. She spoke to Geroge Stephanopoulos on GMA yesterday. While this isn’t a high stake scenario, Jenn doesn’t do so well in this interview if you ask me.

Sterger was a sideline reporter for the jets when Brett Favre joined the team and they crossed paths.  Jenn says that Favre made unwanted advances to her.  I believe that, however, in this interview when George Stephanopoulos asked Jenn, “Did you send him a text that said, ‘If this is you, smile at me.'”

Sterger’s response, “No, I don’t really recall all of the texts. I don’t remember what was in them. I’m sorry.”

She doesn’t expect us to buy that, does she? “Really” (hedge!)?  She can’t remember?  Most people would have read those texts many times over after that ordeal and during, as well, if she was trying to figure out who it really was. She would have done so much better had she said, “I have no interest to talk about the details of this nonsense.”

I find Sterger angry, and maybe rightfully so, but I also find her arrogant and cocky –which puts me on immediate alert.  She has a very similar demeanor (and look) to Casey Anthony of all people, though I am in no way implying that she has Casey’s mental illness.

Here are my initial thoughts on Brett Favre when this broke.
