Jeffrey Stern: Did he do it?

ABC’s 20/20 on Friday night introduced us to a fascinating story out of Houston, Texas.  A wealthy attorney’s wife was targeted for murder not once–not twice, but three times, and the third time, they actually hit their victim, but thankfully didn’t kill her. He is Jeffrey Stern and his wife is Yvonne.

Ironically, Yvonne is standing by her man, Jefferey, because she doesn’t believe he had anything to do with it.   She claims the only thing Jeffrey is guilty of is cheating on her — that he would never plot to killer her.  The whole murder plot, she says was the sole idea of his lover, Michelle Gaiser.

Michelle instead points the finger back at Jeffrey.

The prosecutor says she has strong evidence she hasn’t released yet that will be damning to Jeffrey.

The trial is expected to start soon.

20/20 didn’t give us any key interviews in their story, but one thing is for sure, I will watching for testimony from both Michelle, and Jeffrey, should he take the stand.

Will Jeffrey walk?  That’s the big question.
