“I’d like to think she got hit.”

    I totally missed that…

But I felt he was responsible.

First of all, I believed Roebuck’ statement.

What I think is that Eric killed his wife.
That he put her body in the car and was trying to figure out what to do next
I think Roebuck just happened to pull in at that time and Eric in those panicked few seconds had a plan

Now, comments were made about odds being too great that Roebuck just happened to pull in… Odds are great yes, but if you think of this as a chance encounter….

Hannah Anderson is one example (I do however think she was involved and let’s face it, she even said on instagram “goodbye hollywood hello river” while still in Hollywood and before this even went down so she knew she was going to the river so I call BS on her whole story). The area they were in is 2,366,827 acres (wikipedia) Now imagine the odds of people running into each other out there, but it did… so it can happen.

I think that luck was just on his side that night. Which pisses me off. It seems that happens too often where these murders get lucky enough to get away with everything….

I don’t think he planned it. I think he killed her in the heat of the moment. I think he was in a panic trying to decide what to do and her body was already in her car when Roebuck pulled in….. I think he may have been considering trying to ditch the car… And that man just happened to pull in and he changed those plans…..

The rest I agree with LE.

But the simple fact if you believe that Roebuck was telling the truth at least about the wifes car being there, that discredits his whole claims that she took off in her car

One of the things that struck me the most was Eric’s detailed thoughts on what happened to Justine. A person might have an idea, but not as thought out and detailed as his were. It was too well thought out.

The second thing that stands out loud and clear to me was that Eric’s first wife was still in love and covering up a little for Eric. She seemed quite broken about what happened, but was she broken up out of guilt because she and Eric were planning to get back together, and this happened? It was very obvious that she was hurting and not telling the whole truth about the reasons for her’s and Eric’s divorce. She may be upset on several areas, possible guilt over Justine’s death. I don’t
think she helped plan it, however. She may feel guilty about the relationship she maintained with Eric while he was married to another woman. She may, also, be very let down that her children’s father won’t be there to help her with raising their children. All I can say was that these two seemed to still be too attached and that could be the reason he didn’t want the marriage to Justine.

There was too much evidence that Justine didn’t die the way Eric claimed she did.

Like the husband suggested perhaps Justine saw the hit and run people’s face so they turned around and hit her with their car. Hardly believable as a motive.

the defense’s ME was quick to say “hit and run couldn’t be ruled out.” however, he didn’t say he was convinced that was the most likely cause of death given the medical evidence only that it was possible. well, anything is possible… what is likely? the facial expressions of the accused frighten me. I have a visceral fear reaction to him.

The defence was slow to say ‘…The evidence….cannot rule out the possibility of a hit and run.’ which to me means, it’s not likely but it’s not impossible!

Also Eric said perhaps Justine saw the hit and run people’s face so they turned around and hit her with their car. Hardly believable as a motive.
