A smirk or contempt?

Here is an interesting picture of Ryan Ketzner as he arrived to Warner Bros’ and their premiere of ‘Flipped’ on July 26, 2010. It’s an interesting picture because he has a unilateral smile going on, which is a classic element of contempt. However, could it just be a simple smirk?
