The Sheena Morris and Joe Genoese Story on ABC 20/20

ABC’s 20/20 on Friday night detailed the story of Sheena Morris, 22, and Joe Genoese, 48. Sadly, on January 1, 2009, Sheena Morris ended up dead in a hotel room after having spent an evening with Joe Genoese.

The responding police officer on the scene determined that Sheena Morris died of a suicide, yet Sheena’s mom, Kelly Osborn, didn’t believe it. She knew her daughter better than anyone and she knew Sheena wasn’t sad and despondent in the days leading up to her death. Instead, she was happy and making plans.

ABC’s 20/20 showed both Joe Genoese and Kelly Osborn during the episode, and each talked about the case.

I absolutely believe Kelly is honest, and it is Joe who is not being forthright in my opinion. I do not trust Joe Genoese at all. I wrote about Joe Genoese here when he was on the Dr. Phil show last October–stating I didn’t believe him then and I still don’t.

Joe Genoese is evasive, doesn’t answer questions, and accuses others of lying–classic liar behavior!  On the contrary, Kelly gives every indication of honesty, and her investigative work is clearly showing that there is more to this story than a “suicide” and it doesn’t take eyes for lies to see that.

Kate McCann Recollects Night of Madeleine’s Disappearance

Kate McCann recollects the night that Madeleine disappeared on Crime Watch in the U.K.

Kate’s emotions in this video are very consistent with what she is saying and would be very hard to fake, if she were lying.

I have always believed Kate and Gerry McCann have told the truth.

What do you believe?

The Martin MacNeill 911 Analysis by Eyes for Lies

This was originally published in December 2010.

two person tub with tile surround
I’ve highlighted the clues I see in the 911 transcript below.

Police are currently investigating the death of Michele MacNeill who died in her bathtub in 2007 a week after she had plastic surgery.  She was married to a doctor who supposedly found her unconscious in the tub.  Michele’s death was originally considered death by natural causes by the medical examiner, but investigators are taking another look.

Here is his 911 call.  What do you see when you read it?  You can hear the 911 call here. I can’t believe this is real…

911 Call Transcript

911 OPERATOR: Pleasant Grove Police Department.

MACNEILL: I need — I need an ambulance!

911 OPERATOR: OK, what`s the problem, sir? We need medical. Sir, what`s wrong?

MACNEILL: My wife`s fallen in the bathtub!
If your wife is unconscious, face down in the tub, wouldn’t getting her out immediately be the first thing anyone would do?

911 OPERATOR: Who`s in the bathtub? Who`s in the bathtub?

MACNEILL: My wife!

911 OPERATOR: OK, is she conscious?

MACNEILL: She`s not. I`m a physician. I need help! (INAUDIBLE)
Who is better to help than a trained physician?  Am I missing something?  I would expect to hear him give a run down of the basic life support he had tried to do and what the status was so the EMT could be prepared.  He does none of this.

911 OPERATOR: Sir, sir, I need you to calm down. Sir, I can`t understand you, OK? Can you calm down just a little bit?

MACNEILL: I need help!

911 OPERATOR: OK, what — your wife is unconscious?

MACNEILL: She is unconscious. She`s under water.

She’s under the water?  Why isn’t this physician taking his wife out of the water BEFORE he called 911?  It makes no sense.  Most people respond naturally to circumstances like this.  This man isn’t.  Doctors deal with trauma all the time and  are typically able to think under pressure, too, yet this man can’t?

911 OPERATOR: OK, did you get her out of the water?

MACNEILL: I can`t! I just (INAUDIBLE) I let the water out (INAUDIBLE)
Why on earth couldn’t he get his wife out of the water?

911 OPERATOR: She`s under the water?

MACNEILL: She`s under the water, and I need an ambulance!
What is his excuse for not getting her out?

911 OPERATOR: OK, is she breathing at all?

MACNEILL: She`s not!

911 OPERATOR: OK, sir, the ambulance has been paged. They`re on their way, OK? Do not hang up.

MACNEILL: Why?
Why on earth would he ask why??

911 OPERATOR: What? Sir?

MACNEILL: Hello?

911 OPERATOR: Sir, this is 911. Can I help you?

MACNEILL: I need help!

911 OPERATOR: OK, sir, they`re on their way. Is your wife breathing?

MACNEILL: She is not! I am a physician. I`ve got CPR in progress! (INAUDIBLE)
How can he have CPR in progress if she is under water?  Hello!

911 OPERATOR: You`re doing CPR?

(CROSSTALK)

911 OPERATOR: Sir, how old is your wife?

MACNEILL: My wife is 50 years old. She just had surgery a couple of days, a week ago.

911 OPERATOR: What kind of surgery did she have?

MACNEILL: She had a facelift.

911 OPERATOR: She had a facelift?

MACNEILL: Yes.

911 OPERATOR: OK, do you know how to do CPR?

MACNEILL: I`m doing it!
How can he be doing this if she is underwater?  We didn’t hear him get her out at any point.  Even if he did, he should be winded if he is doing this…on a speaker phone.  I wonder if anyone checked if he was on a speaker phone.

911 OPERATOR: OK, do not hang…

When you listen to the 911 call, you hear this husband is mad.  That raises my eyebrows.  I’d like to ask him what he is mad about.

This phone call would be enough for me to say “suspicious” without any doubt.

Martin MacNeill on Trial

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Martin McNeill is currently on trial for the murder of his wife, Michele, even though the official ruling for the cause of her death has never been determined.

However, if you listen to Martin McNeill’s 911 call, I think you can clearly see what the answer of the cause of death should be. I jumps out at me like a scream in the night.  Let’s hope the jury gets it right!

Check back tomorrow to see my analysis.

Do you see the clues?

Fred and Leslie Mueller

Did you catch CBS 48 Hours this week?  It was the story of Fred and (Dr.) Leslie Mueller.  According to Fred, he and Leslie went to a hike by their house in the mountains of Colorado, but she inadvertently fell off a cliff into a river and drowned.

Fred Mueller has sat through two trials for the murder of his wife, and both juries hung.  Ouch!  The first jury was 1-11 to acquit.  The second jury was 4-8–nearly there for a conviction.  Will there be a third trial?  Prosecutors have only 90 days to decide.

This is a true mystery.  What happened to Dr. Mueller?

I personally find no reason to believe Fred Mueller’s story.

48 Hours quoted Fred as saying about his wife as she fell backwards off a cliff, “”… And she did a swan dive, just like head and shoulders and just slides like mush into the channel …”

That statement is so hot, it could boil, for one.  Who talks of the horror of seeing a loved one falling backwards as a “swan dive”?  Who would refer to a loved one as “mush”? Absolutely absurd.

Second, Fred had scratch marks on his face that are not consistent with bushes, which was one explanation he offered.  The second explanation was that it was self-mutilation, which makes no sense if you ask me.

And his wife, who allegedly tumbled down a cliff and landed on a huge rock slab did not have injuries consistent with her fall. And then after landing on the slab, she immediately drifted off and down the river before Fred could get to her. Yes, all he could do was call out her name, as if that would do what?  I don’t know.

Furthermore, Fred never seemed to try to find Leslie as she went downstream (which some  experts say is not possible for her body to have done) nor did he go to her aid, which I find perplexing. Instead he supposedly just ran for help, when seconds matter. And of course, someone else found her.

I wish I could believe Fred, but sadly I do not.
