Secret to Success and the Connection To Lies

I ran into an article about a month ago that I thought was fabulous, and I want to share it with you.  A writer met up with an angel investor, Peter, a man of wealth, and asked him what was the secret to success.

What do you think his answer was?

Work hard?

Never give up?

Persevere?

You might be surprised his answer revolved around telling lies!

Peter was quoted as saying two very profound statements that I whole-heartedly agree with, and it is so rareso very rare to see someone say what he says.  Most people, even experts, give you advice that is to the contrary.

But I am with Peter. I agree with Peter when he says, “Complete honesty is the access to ultimate power.”

I like to meet Peter. He seems like an absolutely amazing man of great brilliance.

Here is the article for you.

Cal Harris 4th Trial: Not Guilty

For those of you who have followed the Cal Harris case out of Tiago County, New York, you’ve likely seen that a judge found Harris not guilty in his forth trial recently. CBS’s 48 Hours aired the story this past weekend.

Harris is a financially well off businessman whose wife went missing in 2001. She has never been found.

In the first two trials, Harris was convicted of murder, but got the cases overthrown. In his third trial, the jury was hung, and in the last trial, by judge only, Harris finally gets his freedom and is found not guilty.

I have written about this case over the years. You can search my blog for more articles.

What do you think about Cal Harris? Do you think he got justice? Or was there a travesty of justice for his wife, Michele?

Home Invasion Suspect Says Sorry

Caleb Williams, 21, broke into a home with two other people. He knew people were home when he went in. In this interview, he says he is sorry about what he did.

Do you believe him?

I think this interview will cause a split in how people see him. I suspect it will be pretty divided. What do you think? Do you think Caleb is honest or lying?

Funny Expression of the Day

I think this video is interesting because of the expression the weatherman makes.

What expression do you see? Is it what you’d expect?

I will share my comments below in the coming days.

Surgeons Reveal Truth: Must Read!

In my reading this morning, I found a great article that divulges the truth about many elements regarding surgery that you are unlikely to ever hear or read anywhere else again. These are true confessions from surgeons–directly.

Some of the elements I, myself, have personally discovered through experience, and thankfully didn’t get hurt because I caught the lies. In one situation, a doctor recommended an organ-removal surgery. She tried to scare me that I had a strong potential for cancer, which couldn’t be determined until after the surgery, and if I was her family member, she would schedule me immediately.

It was only after I got a second opinion, and did my homework that I was able to put the pieces together that this doctor was unskilled to do a less dramatic surgery because it was way more complex. It was scary to think that she was willing to take dramatic steps on my body that could have life-long side affects due to her lack of skill and know-how! And this doctor was rated very highly. It blew me away.

If you have 10 minutes to spare today, this is one article I can’t recommend strong enough that you read. I found it to be very true, very honest and revealing about what your surgeon is likely not going to tell you, but YOU NEED TO KNOW!

Here are some of the advice from this article, but don’t stop here–they explain each piece! There is so much more you can learn and it could possibly save you or your loved one’s life one day:

  • If your primary care doctor recommends another doctor, don’t assume it is because he or she is good
  • Some surgeons will not recommend procedures they don’t know how to do (as I stated above)
  • When going into surgery, do you know who your anesthesiologist will be? You should!
  • Mistakes are more common than you think

There are 50 tips in this article–don’t stop here!

Education is a vital tool in exposing liars. Liars hate educated people–take it from me. I know.
