Oksana Grigorieva on Larry King

Oksana Grigorieva was on Larry King Live last night and spoke about her ordeal with Mel Gibson. I was immediately pinged by her responses, and I have to say I do not trust Oksana –not that I in any way defend Mel Gibson’s lack of self-control and temper. I do not.

Read moreWhen asked why Oksana taped Mel Gibson, she replies, “I started taping it around 11 o’clock because I thought, ‘I’m actually not going to live through the night. I’m actually not going to live through the night and I wanted my mother to be able to prove that if I’m dead that this is who did it.”

My next thought was she should be talking about calling the police –not taping him, if this is what she truly believes, but she did not. That’s a whopper of a red flag. From the reports I have read, she never called police that night.

At that point, her story looses validity with me.

She says she started fearing for her life at 8 in the evening. If you are truly afraid you are not going to answer calls or call the person you fear and tape them — heck that would start a true inferno with a man who wants to kill you –especially after it got released to the public!!

If Oksana’s story is true, has she been living in hiding since those tapes came out? Has she hired security guards? Why doesn’t she still fear for her life? Or was this one nasty fight that she is blowing way out of proportion? Violent men who truly want to kill you aren’t stopped when you go public and make more accusations against them. That typically enrages them more! An abused woman would be fearful to do that, but Oksana strangely has no problem causing more controversy in the public eye. She has no fear whatsoever.

Also listen to how she talks about domestic abuse victims. She talks about them in third person as if she is not one of them. That is very notable for me. She says, “They cover up for perpetrators, they try to help them. Then she says, “In the back of my mind I thought if I don’t get killed tonight, then I’d like him to hear what he sounds like…”

I’m sorry, but this is utter rubbish.

While domestic abuse victims do cover for their abusers, and do help them try to recover, they do not think of this stuff in depth of their fear for their life. It’s nonsense!! People whose lives are in danger, abused or not, in those moments, all have feelings of self-preservation. Yet Oksana wants us to think she didn’t. The feelings to help an abuser come later after all the apologies and make-up –when they want to believe their love has changed or will change –not when they are withstanding the abuse. Oksana doesn’t understand human behavior very well and this is a big tell!

At the end, King plays some of the recordings that night. Listen to Oksana push Mel. She says, “You need medication.” Listen to the tone of her voice. Does she sound scared for her life?

I do believe Oksana when she says that Mel was losing control. That’s absolutely true. That does incite this type of anger that we see in Mel, but what threats was Oksana making where he felt he was loosing control? I don’t think Oksana is telling us the complete truth here.

Oksana is asking for a hefty settlement from Gibson for child support. TMZ reported 50-60K a month. There is also a report out at the Huffington Post that Grigorieva had reached a settlement with Mel Gibson for $15M in May where she agreed to destroy the tapes. Is Grigorieva out for money? There is more to this story than Grigorieva is telling. That’s for sure.

Oksana Grigorieva spoke out to People Magazine about her problems with Mel Gibson. She talks about how Mel came after her, threatened her and pulled a gun on her, and then threatened to kill himself.

Do you think she is telling the truth?

Read moreI don’t think it takes any rocket science to know that Mel Gibson has a temper. We’ve all heard it for ourselves in the past few months, which makes the likelihood that something could have happened higher than usual.

Is he capable of pulling a gun out and threatening Oksana? Absolutely. The rage we heard in his voice is pretty predictive of his lack of emotional control.

Do I believe something happened on January 6? I do.

Oksana appears to show genuine sadness over the event, but I don’t see fear, which is odd.

I also find it odd how she talks about the gun that day. She says, “And then he pulls a gun out.” Notice how she shrugs her shoulders. That’s not a conclusive hot spot for me (alone as honest people do this), but it is noteworthy. Then she hedges when she says, “And he, you know, he pulls a gun out basically, and he wants to kill us all.”

Basically? He either did or he did not. Why is she minimizing this? This flags me. She also doesn’t speak in past tense when talking about this. She says it in present with the words “wants” instead of wanted.

She continues, and says, “And then he says (shoulder shrug) if I leave then…he’s going to…um…..blow his brains out on the wall (shrug). There was no logic in what he was saying.” When she says this, I see that she is a bit indignant. I suspect he did say said this at one point or another. Did he say it that night? I don’t know.

At the end when she talks about him beating her up when she was holding the baby in her arms, she definitely was concerned for her children. I have no doubt about that, but I’d like to question Oksana about the gun incident. I’m not convinced, but I can’t rule it out at this point. I’d need to see more. Most people who someone pulled a gun on them would be terrified–especially if they were holding their children, as Oksana says.

According to People Magazine, the L.A. Sherrif is investigating Oksana to see if she used the audio tapes to extort Gibson.

Mel Gibson’s Audio Tapes

An expert on the Today show analyzed the audio tapes of Mel Gibson and his ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, to see if they were in any way doctored, and he does not agree with Gibson’s attorney, that these tapes are doctored. He believes they are authentic. It will be interesting to watch this all play out.

Clearly, Mel Gibson, in these audio tapes in ranting like an insane lunatic. He has serious anger issues, absolutely no respect for himself or his ex at this point, which no one can mistake. He is likely dangerous to be around in this state of mind, and any threats he makes should be taken seriously. He has lost control. Anyone can see this. The tone of Gibson’s voice is enough to cause anyone alarm.

When Grigorieva says to Mel, “What kind of man is that? Hitting a woman when she is holding a child in her hands? Breaking her teeth twice in the face. What kind of man is that?” and Mel doesn’t respond with denial, it supports Grigorieva here. Gibson says instead, “Oh, you’re all angry now… You F****** deserved it.” By that response, Gibson is confirming his outrageous behavior, sadly. He tells us what the truth is. If this was a lie, he would have responded differently.

Gibson does say that Grigorieva knows how to push his buttons, and I absolutely believe both of these two pushed each others buttons or things would have never escalated like they did. That’s what causes a relationship melt down like this and once a relationship hits this level, it can never be repaired. It’s permanent and irrevocably destroyed. I shudder when people who reach these levels attempt to rebuild their relationship. It will never, ever happen. If only people would realize this.

I find Gibson’s behavior sick and disturbing as I am sure everyone else does. He needs help!
