The Change in Opinions on Oscar Pistorius

I found it fascinating to look at the public opinion of Oscar Pistorius from last October to now.  A lot of people changed their mind.  I never believed Oscar from day one and I am happy that the public now sees the truth and Oscar Pistorius for who he is!  Victory! Does the change in opinion surprise you?

That’s fascinating. I wonder what the breakdown is between the people who voted in this poll vs. the people who voted in the last one. This one has 87 votes, which is fewer than the difference between those who thought he was guilty vs. those who thought he was innocent in the first poll (160).

I wonder if some of the difference is because more of the people voting this time are regular readers who voted the same way last time, while the last poll had more people who aren’t regular readers who just stumbled across the poll because they were following the case. It would be interesting to know. I also suspect that some people might’ve had their opinions swayed by his being found guilty initially and now again on his appeal.

Yes the 50/50 poll was large and the follow up poll is probably a bit small. Interesting though as it seems too indicate a change of mind. Based on what I wonder? People commenting about the case poking holes in his story?
