Jodi Arias Pleads for Her Life: “I am a Survivor of Domestic Violence”

Watching Jodi Arias plea for her life is a bit shocking to say the least. Here is a woman who savagely murdered her lover and tortured him, and what she finds it important to talk about to spare her life is absolutely off the wall.

Jodi doesn’t ever apologize or show remorse.  She seems to equate an apology as admitting responsibility–as if it were an acceptable replacement. She clearly misses the mark.

She can’t help but tell us how she “thought” about committing suicide, but of course hasn’t because her family  “almost always” comes to mind.

Jodi then talks about how she didn’t know she could be employed in prison, be self-reliant and give back to society. She must have had a revelation since saying she wanted the death penalty after being convicted.  Interesting!

I suspect she heard how her after-conviction TV interview backfired on her and only fired people up more to get her in the death chamber because they clearly saw her manipulation for what it was.

Jodi tells us how she can help other prisoners, which is not very convincing.  No offense, but most people don’t care about prisoners and what others can do for them!

She then tries to tell us she can help society by starting a recycling program at the prison where she will go, and that she can and has donated her hair to Locks of Love.

It’s almost absurd–as absurd as Jodi herself.

She talks about the years she sat in jail awaiting trial when many people asked for help to learn Spanish or sign-language, but she was too busy before trial, but now she will help.

Unbelievable.

She then shows a flimsy t-shirt which she created and hopes to sell for survivors–victims of domestic abuse.

Are you stunned?  Yes, so am I.

The gall it takes to even consider this.  It shows how sick and twisted Jodi really is.

I find it so sad that this is all she can offer anyone.  I would have much preferred to see true and sincere remorse, but Jodi doesn’t have any, as evident by her continually self-centered words.

But by far the most abhorrent thing I heard Jodi say was, “Some people may not believe that I am a survivor of domestic violence–their entitled to their opinion.  I am supporting this cause because it is very important to me.”

Notice she never says, “But I am (a survivor)”.  She oddly left that out.

She cannot give Travis or his family one ounce of room.  At the end of the clip, she starts talking about how sorry she is for what she did–essentially how she ruined HER LIFE–again not sorry for Travis.

I do not believe in the death penalty, but this girl gets as close as I could get to actually pulling the plug.  I feel deeply for Travis’ family to have to endure another element from this woman.  She could not be more cruel, callous and calculating, if she tried. If I were Travis’ family I would want nothing short of death. I can honestly say that.

Yet in odd twist, I do think this was Jodi trying her damnest to save her life at the only level she knew how. It shows how empty a psychopath really is.

Very sad.

this is a devil with human face on. She killed a defensive lover THREE times in an extreamly cruel way. Travis suffered extremely pain, horrar, fear, distress, anger and struggled desperately for his dear life. She doesnt have any feeling towards others except herself during all the time. she regrets doing that is because now she got caught. Not because she felt sorry for taking Travis life. She
