Jesse “Madison” Holton: Dateline

Did you catch Dateline NBC this past weekend? They profiled a mysterious double murder that happened in Eclectic, Alabama, in 2016.

Madison’s parent’s, Mike and April, were in the middle of divorce, and no longer living together when Mike found out that Madison had a party at his house when he was at work.

Mike was very upset, and called the sheriff on his son. Madison’s mom was reportedly at the home when the sheriff arrived.

Eleven minutes after the sheriff left the residence, there was a 911 call.

Madison claimed his parents got into an argument behind closed doors, and he fled to the neighbors, in handcuffs put on him by his dad–telling the neighbor that his parents were in an altercation. Madison’s dad was dead at the scene and his mother died later.

Madison was charged with the murders and served over a year in jail. Then the prosecutor dropped the case.

It’s quite a story, if you saw it.
